"THERE'S MORE OF US THAN THERE ARE OF THEM!" — my mantra for synergizing the masses through art to inspire revolution. I painted this 7x8' Live Art beast in 13 hours at the Bitcoin Conference 2026 (Las Vegas). I have ridden the storm of so many criticisms ever since I discovered Bitcoin & it has shown me that you can't criticize something you don't understand. The monetary trap we're currently enslaved by is the true conspiracy that Bitcoin slices through.

Why is there an occult image on the dollar bill? Really, ask yourself this one very basic fundamental question — What is money? It is a forest massacred, killing fields all around the world, reasons for violence, weapons for war. What is Bitcoin? I'm learning that it is a digital shield of global neutrality without violence. Beyond any intrinsic monetary store of value it may hold, I think its greatest strength lies in an agreed upon set of non-violent proof-of-work principles our community adheres to — privacy, transparency, sovereignty, be your own bank, hold your own keys, decentralization, don't trust, verify.

In the end, none of this is ours anyways, we are just dust in the winds of revolution & change and I choose to surf this wave.

About the Artist

MEAR ONE

MEAR ONE

American b. 1971

MEAR ONE is the working name of Kalen Ockerman, a Los Angeles painter who came up writing graffiti in the mid-1980s. He was one of the writers who dragged the form past lettering into full fine-art realism, working with deep perspective and figures at epic scale, which is part of how he ended up with nicknames like "the Michelangelo of Graffiti." His work was included in Art in the Streets at MOCA, the survey that brought street art into a major museum. The 2008 financial crash changed what he painted about. For the first time he set out to really understand how the money system works, and his canvases turned into a long, detailed case against it, layered with ancient mythology, mysticism, and political symbolism. He calls the style Metaphysical Surrealism. Bitcoin gave all of that somewhere to go. In his own words, "When I discovered bitcoin it immediately reminded me of the graffiti, hip hop, and punk rock culture I grew up in, it mirrored the revolutionary necessities I was communicating through my art." His first bitcoin auction came at Bitcoin 2022 in Miami, where False Profits, his send-up of the central bankers who run the money, sold for 2 BTC and made him one of the names to know in Bitcoin art. He came back in 2026 to paint live for thirteen hours on the gallery floor at the conference. The way he sees it, the money is the real conspiracy, and the painting is how he says so.

From BMAG

"Bitcoin 2026 gave MEAR ONE a stage and a crowd; he gave it a painting made in real time. Over thirteen hours on the gallery floor — no sketch, no net — he built this 78 × 95-inch canvas in front of thousands. The result now hangs at BMAG in Nashville, and the work remains open for bidding on the BMAG auction platform until the close of the sale."
