Memory Theatre (2026) is a series of eight works on paper in which sealed, sphere-like scenes pile into a single mass: each orb a complete moment rendered in silhouette, visible but never enterable. The scenes are imagined rather than remembered, and together they behave the way memory does — fragments in no fixed order, accumulating into a whole. The title refers to Giulio Camillo's sixteenth-century Theatre of Memory, an imagined architecture that promised to hold all knowledge as scenes viewed from a single point. The series debuts at this exhibition; each work is unique, painted on handmade paper, and framed.
