A preview our next show featuring new works from Pepenardo

Memetikron names the underlying engine through which symbolic capital organizes reality. Within this framework, images function as economic instruments. Circulating symbols proliferate belief; belief consolidates into value; value organizes material reality.
The works presented here treat the image as a carrier. Medieval compositional forms organize contemporary scenes of capital and attention. Figures assume the geometry of market charts. Architecture renders stratification visible. In one work, incision and extraction recall the medieval removal of the “stone of madness,” refigured here as a shift in perception.
Memetikron names the loop through which image shapes capital and capital reshapes reality.
